DONALD ENGLE

From New Mexico originally, I have always embrace the natural, the wild, the adventurous and unusual. A photographer by passion rather than by profession, I am limited only by imagination and talent rather than commercial considerations. The Landscape, Wildlife and Faces images come from my extensive travel to remote, off the grid locations. Many were reached by hiking beyond the end of any road or sailing to completely isolated locations. More recently while at home in between travels, I am been working with local models on location and in studio settings to explore visions and light, form and composition. This is a new direction and an exciting exploration; taking my photography in a more traditionally artistic direction.
